If you were president of the United States what would you do to make the world a better place?

My name is J.D. Wallington and as president of the United States my first order of business is to level the playing field. It is my belief that some people have no idea when to say enough is enough. I believe that greed is the down fall of our nation. Now let me clarify = There is nothing wrong with making lots of money. There is nothing wrong with being extremely wealthy but like my grandpa always said too much of anything just ain’t good for you. As a nation If we could eliminate greed we could easily solve our nation’s problems. I propose a question to you? How much money does it take for one man or one family to live comfortably for the rest of their lives? One million, ten million, fifty million, one hundred million I mean let’s be honest if you can’t live on ten million dollars a year then there is something seriously wrong with you.

As a kid my favorite TV show was Star Trek. I always thought it was strange that everyone on board the USS Enterprise went about their daily lives working and striving to be, the best in their fields without receiving a paycheck at the end of the week. Let’s be realistic, there is such a thing as to much money. If we were to pass one simple law we could put an end to the United States deficient.

I propose to you my fellow Americans the J.D. Wallington Bill. Under this bill no single person is allowed to make over ten million dollars a year. Anything over ten million dollars should be collected and deposited into the United States treasury. If this could be done the United States deficient could be wiped away in less than one year.

My name is J.D. Wallington and I want to be your next president (LOL)

Prescription Drugs Gone Wild

In the little town that I live in I'm amazed at the number of people that abuse prescription drugs. Most of the ones that I see are young women between the ages of 19 and 26. I see them standing on the street corner willing to sell themselves to anyone for a brief moment of self induced peace. As a child I never remember my life being so bad or so hopeless that I would do anything to escape the world I live in for a brief moment.

We hear a lot of buzz about drugs and prostitution in our town, but we also know that if the powers that be really wanted to stop it they could. One way is to do it just like they did alcohol, change the form of the oxycontin. Fix it so that you can not crush, snort, or shoot the pill and do a Little better job of policing the ones oxycontins are prescribed to. Bare in mind that changing the form of alcohol didn't stop its use, but it did stop people from being able to brew the elixir in their own back yards.

I have taken the time to talk to some of these girls. Most of them feel like what else am I going to do. We are always going to struggle and jobs are very hard to find. Basically, their question to me is is there a better way, truthfully I don't know but trying to escape reality never helps it only prolongs the inevitable. Personally I believe that nothing changes until you want it to, so hang on and tread the waters until help arrives.

WADE IN THE WATER CHILDREN
By: jdwallington

Girl don’t you think it’s been too much time
walking the streets
trying not to loose your mind,

the only comfort you get, is a mixture in a spoon
shoot'um up, fly me straight to the moon,

its been an hour now and you’re losing your high
but you’re a big girl now so you ain't gonna cry

you suck it up.
and wipe the tears from your chin
hit the streets and do it over again

Let the preacher say, wade in the water, wade in the water children,
wade in the water,God’s gonna trouble the water

oh well you think you've made it, the evil didn't do you any harm
because you walk the streets, with no marks on your arm

when the truth is told, its got a hold on you strong
you’re out walking in the rain, because you ain't got no home

where’s all your loved ones, God only knows
you’re just a homeless child with a runny nose

Let the preacher say, wade in the water, we need you Jesus, wade in the water children,
come by here Lord, wade in the water,
God’s gonna trouble the water

say it again
wade in the water children.
